29th July 2010 - MICHAEL - A day at the Lion Park

MICHAEL - A day at the Lion Park

Every time in the last months when we were in Joburg we visited the Lion Park. Now because we have our base-camp near Joburg, and spend our time here with business-meetings, walking the labyrinth, fishing AND getting a Defender 110 for the next travels, we go to the Lion Park weekly.

The more I go there, the more I feel the unbelievably huge energy of this place. My new friends Gambit the giraffe, Columbus the advertisement lion and certainly Thunder and Rain seem to recognize me. This sounds like the imagination of an out-of-space animal lover, trying to create something special for his own belief system which doesn’t really exist.
As a very analytic and reality-based person I didn´t take Lynette too serious, as she told me, these animals have a direct and strong power and connect with people that are open minded. I´m on the way to change my mind about this.

Today we spent a wonderful day at the Lion Park. “We” means Fransa, Linda, Jenny, Helen, Lynette and me. I certainly would have enjoyed this day also without the Lion Park, only surrounded by all these ladies.

Jenny and Helen did the drive through the lion camps in their car. Undamaged. Fransa, Lynette and I joined Linda in her car. “Attacked” by a lion, which was too interested in the car´s spare tyre. Sooo much fun. That means I had fun. I don´t know, what Linda was thinking while her car was munched and I was laughing. Sorry for that, Linda!

After that we visited Gambit, the giraffe. Jenny told me to kiss him. Said and done. I still prefer Biotherm Homme Facial Exfoliator, but Gambit´s tongue wasn´t bad. Lynette kissed him too, but they know each other for years…

We closed our day there with visiting the cubs. They always remind me of my daughter´s cat. Only bigger, much bigger…
